Filmed individually, the Split dancers were tasked with executing highly technical choreography exactly the same as one another. They were challenged to find ways to express their individuality while contributing to the whole. Separately they shine. Together they flourish, with vibrant hues and a little sass.

We see so many moments throughout our day that involve multiple people crossing paths and remaining anonymous. But even still, tidbits of individuality can jump out of the monochromatic scene where shapes and body parts seem to blend together.

RMP.1 : Launch
Created last April, Launch is true to its name as RMP's first film project.
Emily, Elena and Sarah spent time in the studio prior merging their differing movement styles in order to create a single phrase. They dance the movement in unison, revealing their inherent individuality and establishing their work as a collective.
Launch marks the beginning of this adventure together and sets us up for what will hopefully be many years of collaboration.
